The Snow Power Series of Engines are specifically designed for snowthrower applications. These engines run in sizes from 6 to 9.5 hp with current models starting at 6, 7 and 9.5 hp. The engines are identical to our famous EX Series Overhead Cam design series, with the addition of the cold and snow weather options listed as standard features.

The engine design is extremely compatible and easy to install, and simply exchanges with most existing slant cylinder engines.

Introduced as the lightest, most compact engine in its class, advanced Subaru technology gives the Micro series high torque and horsepower output for its small size. Featuring three models with horsepower ratings of 1.1 and 1.6, the Micros have a quick throttle response and wide rpm range, meeting the requirements of demanding applications.

Featuring six models ranging from 18 to 25 horsepower, the V-Twin
cylinder series engines are the workhorses of the Subaru engine line.
This engine series provides maximum versatility offering models with
horizontal or vertical PTO shafts, allowing engines to be used for an
even greater variety of industrial and construction equipment. Compared
to conventional side-valve engines, Subaru’s V-Twin provides smooth,
reliable torque throughout the rpm range, improved breathing room at
high rpm and low fuel consumption.
